The initial implementations of Sphere, the next-generation Issuer Online, have been rolling out for the past few months.
Here we discuss the inspiration for Sphere and how the unique and changing needs of clients drove the creation of this exciting new platform.
What inspired the creation of Sphere and what unique value does it bring to our clients?
Sphere was inspired by our commitment to keeping clients at the center of everything we do at Computershare. Over time, we realized our clients' needs were evolving. Driven by insights from clients, the new design is modern, intuitive and can be configured to how you work.
Sphere simplifies complex tasks, streamlines workflows, plus:
Provides real-time access to data
Makes it easy to generate on demand reporting, design professional reports, and apply flexible data filters and sorting
Offers advanced shareholder search features and dynamic sorting
Applies best security practices with multi-factor authentication to meet security guidelines and single sign-on for simple access
And this is just the beginning – Sphere was designed to provide the foundation for many more exciting development opportunities ahead.
How does Sphere unlock shareholder data to provide actionable intelligence?
Sphere enables us to gather data from various sources and check to ensure accuracy. This information is presented in an easy-to-understand format, using a streamlined dashboard to make the data more accessible. Advanced filters, visualization and analytics allow you to sort data on-screen, rather than having to request a report. This can help you to identify key patterns and trends, enabling you to make more informed decisions.
Can you share some early feedback from clients in the initial phases of the rollout?
We are proud to say that feedback has been overwhelmingly positive! Clients appreciate:
Intuitive interface and insightful features
Easy-to-use functionality and enhanced user experience
Fast shareholder document retrieval and detailed shareholder information
During a recent webinar for onboarded clients, participants were impressed by the new platform and expressed enthusiasm for what's to come. It is incredibly rewarding to know our platform is making a tangible impact for our clients.
What features or functionalities have clients found most beneficial so far?
Clients have found our analytics and visualization tools very useful to help make complex data easier to understand. With improvements such as multi-factor authentication, we provide best in class security for our clients’ data. Clients also appreciate the dashboard and new accessibility features, including the option to switch between light and dark modes.
What future enhancements or updates can clients look forward to with Sphere?
At Computershare, we strive to innovate solutions that make the lives of our clients, and their shareholders, easier, and Sphere provides the foundation to build more exciting features as our clients’ needs change.
We will continue to deliver enhanced reporting capabilities, more customizable dashboards, and even deeper integration with other business tools. Plus, we are working on more dynamic information access to expand our data sources to provide even richer insights. Coming soon is a new events calendar, greater level of site customization and the ability to add shareholder tags, which will integrate with data insights and alert notifications.
