Our Industry Insight events are designed to keep governance professionals ahead of the latest trends impacting their profession. We don’t just offer a 45-to-60 minute talk from experts within the field covering topics impacting the role but feature a networking session following the event where you can talk to industry experts, your colleagues and Computershare staff.
Anyone can attend our Industry Insight events. If you’re interested in the topic covered, are an industry professional or want to meet and connect with peers, the event will offer something for you.
These events are unique because they offer an insight from seasoned experts into the trends and challenges impacting the governance profession. This means it could be anything from specific challenges of the role through to what it means to be a company secretary today.
At most events, there’ll be some form of panel discussion, featuring a networking session after the event. There’ll be plenty of Computershare staff around to talk to, alongside industry experts and your peers. If you don’t fancy the networking, you can only attend the panel discussion.
We’ll let you know ahead of time if food and drink will be provided. Usually, you’ll be given the chance to network with drink and nibbles after the panel discussion.
We usually include 3 or 4 speakers at our events, alongside a moderator from Computershare. We’re delighted in the level of expertise of some of our past guests.
No, all of our Industry Insight events are free.
You can register via the registration link that will appear once the event has been announced. It’ll be announced on this page, on LinkedIn and via email. You can sign up for events at the bottom of the page. Once you’ve registered, you’ll be sent attendance information ahead of the event. On the day, we recommend arriving 15 minutes before the event is due to start. You do not need to bring anything with you, unless told otherwise.
